IU Lilly Family School of Philanthropy. Along the way, JoAnna gained experience working with a wide variety of foundations, including the Community Foundation of Noble County, Parkview Noble Hospital Foundation, Indiana University Foundation, and Smithville Charitable Foundation. She returns to Steuben County after a summer internship with SCCF in 2017—now responsible for sharing donor stories and highlighting the many ways the foundation is making a positive impact in the community.
With school out the way, JoAnna plans to spend her free time traveling, baking sweet treats, and enjoying time with family. She also hopes to test her green thumb with some gardening! JoAnna is excited to get to know Steuben County and become part of the community.

Although new to Angola, JoAnna grew up nearby in the Ligonier area and graduated from West Noble High School. Her experiences in youth philanthropy sparked her passion for getting involved. JoAnna’s interest in addressing community needs with a positive attitude and practical training led her to IU in Bloomington for a Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, followed by a Master of Arts degree in Philanthropic Studies at the
