Making A Donation

Donors can rest easy knowing their investment in our community is secure at SCCF. The Foundation is publicly accountable for the management and distribution of its assets through annual independent audits, filing of tax returns and public disclosure of grant activities.

A decision to help others is one of life's most rewarding acts. Once that commitment is made, the Foundation is prepared to help. Every donor has personal reasons for making a gift based upon his/her life experiences. The Foundation is prepared to work with donors and their legal & financial advisors to define these gifts.

Methods:

  • Cash/Check- the simplest form of giving.
  • Appreciated Property- stocks, bonds, real estate, collectibles, etc…
  • Bequests- gifts of cash or property that are made through a will and are free of estate taxes.
  • Life Insurance- SCCF can be named as an irrevocable beneficiary of a life insurance policy. Premium payments thereafter are tax-deductible.
