•Sylvia E. Jackson was destined to lead an exciting and interesting life. After graduating from Angola High School, she continued her education at Michigan State University. While there she received a Rotary Foundation Fellow Scholarship and went to Paris, France, to study for one year. Returning to the U.S., she enrolled at the University of Wisconsin where she earned a Master’s Degree. Sylvia went on to work for the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA). After completing her training, she was sent to work in Morocco where she stayed until she became ill and returned to the United States. This scholarship was established in her memory through a bequest from Lurene Klink Jackson.
