SCCF manages more than 50 scholarship funds from a variety of different donors and organizations. These scholarships are awarded based on unique selection criteria that honor the donor's intentions. Unless explicitly stated, scholarships are for residents of Steuben County. Scholarships are available for both traditional students (graduating high school seniors) and non-tradtional students (current college students and those who are returning to advanced education after a period of time).
All of SCCF's general scholarships are administered through Foundant, an online application service (with the exception of the Lilly Endowment Community Scholarship).
To apply, follow the link below and create your account. You will complete a general application, with questions that match you to scholarships for which you have met the basic requirements. At this time, you will be able to select which scholarships you wish to apply for, and complete each application. Certain programs will require you to answer unique questions and/or essays before submitting your application. For more information on Foundant and step by step instructions, click to watch the video below.
SCCF general sholarship applications open at the beginning of November and close at the end of January.
Each spring, SCCF hosts a scholarship reception to connect donors who have established scholarship funds with the students who were chosen as recipients. Read more about this year's scholarship reception here!
