The Steuben County Community Foundation (SCCF) acts as the leader of the philanthropic community; identifying and exploring important needs and concerns, addressing serious problems, and shaping effective responses. In 2018, SCCF granted $1.96 million dollars to our community. We are proud to be a partner with the many nonprofit organizations and community groups that help make Steuben County a great place to live.

In order to serve Steuben County, the SCCF board has identified several broad categories in which needs exist and in which grant requests are encouraged. The SCCF is particularly interested in ideas that shed new light on Steuben County's needs and aspirations, with emphasis on providing long-term solutions.

These are guidelines: proposals are not limited to these areas, and grant seekers are encouraged to respond to emerging community needs. However, we place a low priority on projects where we will be the sole funder.
SCCF grants are changing...but we promise it's for the better!
As of May 1, 2019 SCCF is utilizing a new grant software system to manage your applications from start to finish. The new system will help nonprofits keep a more complete and centralized record of your applications going forward, helping to preserve this history despite changes in staff or volunteers.
We're happy to answer any questions you might have about applying through this system. Contact our Program Officer, Jacqui Gentile, at 260-665-6656 or email@example.com.
