Meet the team
Sara Williams
Stewardship Manager
MBA & BSBA Marketing, Trine University
“Seeing the generous hearts of Steuben County philanthropists has inspired me to continue helping improve the quality life for each demographic.”
Sara is the youngest of three
daughters of business owners from Kendallville. In 2020, she graduated from
East Noble High School with Academic Honors and continued her education at
Trine University. During her time at Trine, Sara held various leadership
positions within her local sorority, was a part of Women in Business, and
worked as a part-time barista at Caleo Friends & Coffee. She graduated
Trine in May of 2024 with her Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of
Science in Business Administration with a marketing major.
Sara attributes her philanthropic
tendencies to her parents’ charitable giving, as they led by example through
selfless donations and volunteering. After completing a 15-month internship
with the Steuben County Community Foundation, Sara determined joining SCCF
staff was her way of making a difference in our community. The purpose of the
Stewardship Manager position is to support the Steuben County Community
Foundation’s annual philanthropic revenue development goals and strategic
marketing plan. Sara is responsible for providing donor relations and
stewardship support, managing the donor/client relationship management portion
of the database, and creating content for marketing materials, presentations,
and social media.
Outside of her work at SCCF, Sara teaches children various dance styles at TC Dance Academy. She resides
in Fort Wayne with her partner, where they’re raising their puppy, enjoy
working out, cooking healthy meals, and being outdoors.
