Women in Transition
Celebrating 20 years of service this year, Women in Transition remains a safe place for women to transition their lives for the better. Recently, Lynn Wernet has started a fund for WIT to support their operational needs, beyond a one-time donation. This fund shows WIT that they permanently have support from the community to continue to improve the lives of Steuben County women in need. From Shelly Grant at WIT, the only word to describe the feelings of this support, is Grateful. Lynn says her favorite part about WIT is that it’s completely for women and all about the recovery process. This is a perfect example of connecting people who care with needs that matter, in Steuben County.
