“Community foundations are the heart and soul of a community. It’s an honor to serve at an organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals, families and organizations.”

Lisa assumed the role of Vice President of Programs at the Steuben County Community Foundation in October 2022. With over two decades of experience in nonprofits and fundraising as a volunteer and a professional, her transition to full-time nonprofit fundraising in 2013 marked a pivotal moment in her career. Lisa holds a bachelor’s degree from Purdue University and a master’s in business administration from Indiana Institute of Technology. Additionally, she possesses an Executive Certificate in Nonprofit Fund Development from the University of Notre Dame and is a Certified Fundraising Executive (CFRE) through CFRE International.

Lisa has made significant contributions beyond her professional role. As a former Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Northeast Indiana Chapter board member, she has presented for AFP education programs and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE). Additionally, Lisa has served as an online adjunct instructor, teaching grant writing and fundraising.

Outside of her professional pursuits, Lisa finds comfort at her home on Hamilton Lake in Hamilton, Indiana, where she and her husband, Michael, cherish special moments with their three grown children.
