Steuben County 4-H

4-H is a volunteer youth development and education program for youth in grades K-12 coordinated by the Purdue University Cooperative Extension Service.  Its primary objective is to assist young people in acquiring knowledge, skills, citizenship, and leadership. 

4-H is one of the largest youth development organizations in the world. Youth in the program have the chance to develop life skills and gain knowledge via low-cost, hands-on, positive learning opportunities.  These learning opportunities take place throughout the year and are showcased, in many cases, as exhibitions at the county fair in July.
